These two fantastic artists have described each other as “yin to my yang.” They’re cooking up a dual show; in the meantime, check each of them out this weekend…
January 28, 2011: Miss Wensday and The Cotillions
Cuban Revolution
60 Valley St. Providence, RI
9pm – 12am
Miss Wensday hit the Providence scene a year ago, and she has taken it by storm (seen the cover of Providence Monthly lately?). With a powerful, soulful voice, acting chops, and a vicious sense of humor, Wensday is always a treat to watch. She and the Cotillions perform a selection of jazz standards, French torch songs, and USO dance hall hits. You can also catch them almost every month at Chifferobe, where they’re the house band.

Please tell Miss Wensday that we miss her here in Phoenix. I in particular, miss the great times we spent in the studio doing her CD, “Torch Rock”. Love from the valley of the sun.
