Miss Wensday hit the Providence scene a year ago, and she has taken it by storm (seen the cover of Providence Monthly lately?). With a powerful, soulful voice, acting chops, and a vicious sense of humor, Wensday  is always a treat to watch.  She and the Cotillions perform a selection of jazz standards, French torch songs, and USO dance hall hits. You can also catch them almost every month at Chifferobe, where they’re the house band.

The Boston Burlesque Marathon

Last month, the Boston Babydolls held its first 8-hour burlesque marathon. I was too sleep deprived to do a write-up about it, but Boston University’s online magazine Quad did a nice job:
